Planning Your Wedding Florals.

Who else has a Pinterest board with thousands of images and ideas for your dream wedding? ( I do..)

Wedding dress, tick. Location, tick. Makeup, tick. Hair, tick. Now for the flowers.

Should I have fresh flowers, do I have dried flowers, can I mix them? Will that style date?

We have a few tips and ideas for how you can choose the perfect florals for you and your fiancé!

CHOOSING WHAT’S IN SEASON.

What’s your favourite flower? Love peonies? They are STUNNING, but only available during the cooler months. So if you’re wanting a November wedding, more than likely, they will not be in season!

Chat with us to discuss what you love and what is in season and available at the time for your chosen wedding date!

COLOUR & THEME.

The colour and style of your wedding florals can say so much.

All white florals can be super classy and formal! Think white roses, Phalaenopsis orchids, minimal foliage.

Going for a rustic, relaxed vibe. Maybe have look at lisianthus, cottage style roses, eucalyptus.

Dried florals can be super boho but also modern, they last for years if cared for and can be reused in your home!

BUDGET.

The b word. No wants to talk about it, no one reallllly sticks to it..

When making your floral checklist, decide what is a must have and what is not needed.

Floral pieces can be moved around and reused from ceremony to reception if your budget is small or you just like to recycle. We can discuss where we think florals would best fit and where we honestly think they are not needed.
